End of Summer musings, life, dil dhadakne do and blah blah...

I love Farhan Akhtar PERIOD

So as it appears, we have some rain today after 19 long days. And here I am trying to blah blah with endless cups( just the second, somehow endless have become a bloggers choice) of chai, about the wonderful summer this was, how Syd has 6 teeth now, how he doesn't care about calling me mama(sigh!) and watching Dil Dhadakne Do yesterday and falling for Farhan Akhtar (Blush!) all over again.

We had an eventful summer this year compared to what we always did. Except for the fact that our new bikes haven't seen a trail yet, I cant complain much. We hiked the Whiteface mountain, explored a few new restaurants , spent lazy evenings at home, cuddled Syd a lot, spent time in NYC, enjoyed 'free' concerts, entertained at home and said 'I love you' to each other and Syd a billion times:)

I also read a few books-thanks to my voracious reader friend from Boston-and I enjoyed sneaking out for a bit for my time with books. If I keep up any interest in blogging in the next couple of weeks I will rate a few that i read, may be.
I bought a lot of clothes and shoes, after all that's MOMCATION. I needed one:D.
I started following crazy amount of fashion bloggers and mommy's on Instagram looking for some inspiration to spruce up my blog, Worry about my Chai pic not being popular, but I know its a phase and this too shall pass.
Me and Pech, watched 2 seasons of Sherlock back to back and I really am putting off watching the 3rd season because I dont want to wait for the 4th for too long. Dont think I can hold off for too long.
We cried watching Million Dollar Arm, I watched some hopeless Malayalam movies, but the chills watching 'Munnariyipp' gave made up for all of the earlier mentioned hopelessness.

The fall chill is slowly coming down on us now. The tress I see are already changing colors and I don't remember me being so happy about the change in seasons especially knowing a brutal winter is just around the corner. May be, I am just Happy, May be!! Whatever be this 'sometimes only positive energy', I wish it stays, forever.
